Cancellation and Did Not Arrive (DNA) Policy

Here at Peak Remedial we render to provide excellent care in both a clinical and wellbeing setting to all our patients and clinic visitors. In an attempt to be consistent with this, we have an appointment cancellation and Did not attend Policy in operation that allows us to schedule appointments for all patients. 

We request the following from all clinic patients and visitors when making bookings:

Please allow a minimum 48hrs notice of cancellation by calling 01489552477 when you know you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If no one is available to answer the phone, please leave a message with your name, contact number and details of your appointment. Text and Email messages will not be accepted. If you require to cancel your appointment with less than 48hrs notice: the following charges will be in place:

48 to 24 hours’ notice   – 25% of treatment cost

12 to 24 hours’ notice   – 50% of treatment cost

8 to 12 hours’ notice     – 75% of treatment cost

8 hours or less notice    – 100% of treatment cost

No Notice or cancellation will require full payment for treatment, and full payment for future treatments.

Late arrivals will be charged at the full treatment booking.

We understand that sometime unforeseen circumstances may result in a short notice cancellation or non-attendance requirement, and will always do our best to recognize cancellations that are unforeseen and a result of circumstances out of our patients control. However, cancellations, no-shows or late arrivals hinder our ability to administer treatment to all those who require it and decrease our ability as a clinic to operate in an affective manner. We want to make our policy as clear as possible, as it may be upsetting when people miss or need to change an appointment, often because of genuine and stressful reasons.

This Policy is in place to protect the livelihood of our team who may not get paid when an appointment is not kept, as is common in health care provisions. We do recognize whilst COVID is still an active limitation for many, our Cancellations Policy will be subject to Clinical Discretion between the clinical director and patient and all decisions are final.
